Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all appointment requests, bookings, consultations, facial services, skincare services, promotional offers, payments, deposits, booking fees, packages, memberships, gift cards, and any other services or transactions offered by Lumière Skin Studio.
By submitting an appointment request, booking a service, communicating with Lumière Skin Studio, visiting our studio, receiving any service, making any payment, or otherwise interacting with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
If you do not agree with this Policy, you should not request an appointment, book a service, make a payment, or receive services from Lumière Skin Studio.

In this Policy, “Lumière,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Lumière Skin Studio. “You,” “your,” “client,” and “customer” refer to any person who requests an appointment, books a service, receives a service, makes a payment, or communicates with us.
2. Appointment Requests
Appointments may be requested through the booking form on our website or through other communication methods approved by Lumière Skin Studio.
Submitting a form does not guarantee an appointment, service, provider, time slot, price, promotion, or availability.
An appointment is not confirmed until Lumière Skin Studio directly confirms it with you by email, text message, phone call, or another communication method used by us.
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current contact information when requesting an appointment. Lumière Skin Studio is not responsible for missed confirmations, failed communications, scheduling issues, or appointment loss caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or inaccessible contact information provided by you.
3. Cancellation Policy
We request at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must contact Lumière Skin Studio as soon as possible at help@lucie-lumiere.mnails.studio or through the communication method used to confirm your appointment.
Cancellation or rescheduling requests are not considered received until Lumière Skin Studio has actually received and reviewed the request.
Sending a message does not automatically cancel or reschedule your appointment unless we confirm the cancellation or rescheduling.
Failure to provide at least 24 hours notice may be considered a late cancellation.
4. Late Cancellation Policy
A late cancellation is any cancellation, rescheduling request, or appointment change made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
Late cancellations may result in cancellation fees, forfeiture of any deposit or booking fee, loss of promotional eligibility, refusal of future bookings, required prepayment for future appointments, or other booking restrictions.
Lumière Skin Studio reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a cancellation is timely, late, excused, or subject to fees or restrictions.
Repeated late cancellations may result in permanent refusal of future appointment requests.
5. No Show Policy
A no show occurs when a client does not arrive for a scheduled appointment and does not provide proper cancellation notice.
A no show may also include arriving so late that the service cannot reasonably be performed, failing to respond to confirmation messages, failing to complete required intake steps, or failing to appear at the confirmed appointment time.
No shows may result in forfeiture of any deposit, booking fee, prepaid amount, or promotional offer.
No shows may also result in refusal of future bookings, required full prepayment for future appointments, cancellation of future appointments, or permanent restriction from booking with Lumière Skin Studio.
Lumière Skin Studio reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether an appointment is considered a no show.
6. Late Arrival Policy
You are responsible for arriving on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, your appointment may be shortened, modified, rescheduled, or cancelled.
If your appointment is shortened due to late arrival, the full service price may still apply.
If you arrive too late for the service to be performed safely, properly, or within the remaining scheduled time, Lumière Skin Studio may cancel the appointment and treat it as a late cancellation or no show.
Lumière Skin Studio is not responsible for reduced service time, limited treatment options, incomplete service, dissatisfaction, or reduced results caused by late arrival.
7. Provider Cancellation or Rescheduling
Lumière Skin Studio reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, shorten, modify, or refuse any appointment due to provider availability, illness, emergency, weather, safety concerns, business needs, technical issues, scheduling conflicts, client conduct, contraindications, or circumstances beyond our control.
If we cancel or reschedule an appointment before services are provided, we may offer a new appointment time at our discretion.
Lumière Skin Studio is not responsible for travel costs, lost wages, lost time, childcare costs, parking costs, transportation costs, inconvenience, emotional distress, missed events, or any other direct or indirect loss resulting from appointment changes, delays, cancellations, or unavailability.
8. Refusal or Discontinuation of Service
Lumière Skin Studio reserves the right to refuse, pause, modify, or discontinue any service at any time if we believe that the service may be unsafe, inappropriate, unsuitable, or outside the proper scope of our services.
Reasons for refusal or discontinuation may include but are not limited to:
- Visible skin irritation, infection, rash, open wounds, lesions, sunburn, active cold sores, or other contraindications
- Failure to disclose allergies, medications, recent procedures, skin conditions, or relevant health information
- Use of Accutane, isotretinoin, retinoids, acids, exfoliants, prescription creams, or other products that may affect treatment suitability
- Recent injections, fillers, Botox, laser treatments, waxing, threading, microneedling, chemical peels, surgery, or cosmetic procedures
- Pregnancy related concerns, medical concerns, or unresolved safety concerns
- Unsafe, disrespectful, aggressive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, intoxicated, or inappropriate behavior
- Failure to complete required intake, consent, or consultation steps
- Failure or refusal to follow studio policies
If service is refused or discontinued because of inaccurate information, withheld information, contraindications, client conduct, late arrival, violation of policy, or safety concerns caused or contributed to by you, Lumière Skin Studio may retain any deposit, booking fee, prepaid amount, or charge for the reserved appointment time to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Refund Policy for Completed Services
All completed services are final and non refundable.
Because skincare services involve reserved appointment time, professional labor, product use, consultation, preparation, expertise, and individualized service, no refunds will be issued for completed services.
This applies even if you are dissatisfied with the result, expected a different outcome, changed your mind, experienced temporary skin response, did not follow aftercare instructions, failed to disclose relevant information, or believe the service did not meet your personal expectations.
Payment is for the professional service performed, not for a guaranteed result.
10. No Guaranteed Results
Skincare results vary from person to person.
Lumière Skin Studio does not guarantee any specific result, glow, texture change, acne improvement, hydration level, brightness, sensitivity reduction, skin transformation, timeline, or long term outcome.
Results may depend on skin type, skin condition, hormones, lifestyle, sun exposure, medications, product use, allergies, stress, hydration, sleep, diet, consistency, aftercare, and other individual factors.
No refund, credit, free service, adjustment, or compensation will be provided solely because your results differ from your expectations, website descriptions, testimonials, examples, images, promotional materials, or another person’s experience.
11. Skin Reactions and Adverse Responses
Facial services, skincare products, exfoliation, LED or red light therapy, extractions, masks, serums, moisturizers, SPF, and other cosmetic skincare techniques may cause temporary or unexpected skin responses.
Possible responses may include redness, sensitivity, dryness, tightness, peeling, breakouts, purging, irritation, tingling, swelling, discomfort, allergic reaction, or temporary worsening of skin appearance.
You are responsible for disclosing allergies, sensitivities, medications, skincare products, recent procedures, medical conditions, and any other information that may affect your treatment.
Lumière Skin Studio is not responsible for adverse reactions caused by undisclosed information, unknown allergies, individual skin behavior, third party products, medication use, recent procedures, contraindications, failure to follow aftercare, or factors outside our control.
Skin reactions, sensitivity, irritation, breakouts, purging, or dissatisfaction do not automatically qualify for a refund.
12. Concerns After Service
If you have a concern after receiving a service, you must contact Lumière Skin Studio within 24 hours of your appointment at help@lucie-lumiere.mnails.studio.
You may be asked to provide details, photos, aftercare information, product use information, and any relevant history so that we can review the concern.
Lumière Skin Studio may, in its sole discretion, provide general aftercare guidance, recommend that you seek medical care, offer a follow up conversation, offer a courtesy adjustment, offer a credit, or take no further action.
Any courtesy solution is voluntary and does not create a legal obligation, admission of fault, waiver of this Policy, promise of future compensation, or guarantee of future service.
13. Deposits and Booking Fees
Lumière Skin Studio may require a deposit, booking fee, consultation fee, or advance payment to secure an appointment.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits and booking fees are non refundable.
Deposits or booking fees may be applied toward the scheduled service at our discretion if you attend the appointment as scheduled and comply with all studio policies.
Deposits, booking fees, and prepaid amounts may be forfeited if you cancel late, reschedule late, fail to appear, arrive late, provide inaccurate information, fail to complete required forms, violate studio policy, or are refused service due to contraindications or conduct.
14. Prepaid Services
If Lumière Skin Studio accepts payment in advance for any service, the prepaid amount is subject to this Policy and any additional terms provided at the time of purchase.
Prepaid services are not redeemable for cash.
Prepaid services may be non refundable, non transferable, and subject to expiration or scheduling restrictions where permitted by law and stated by Lumière Skin Studio.
Failure to use a prepaid service within any applicable timeframe may result in loss of the prepaid service or credit, except where prohibited by law.
15. Packages and Memberships
Lumière Skin Studio may offer packages, bundles, memberships, subscription style services, or prepaid treatment plans in the future.
Packages and memberships may be subject to separate written terms, including expiration dates, cancellation rules, refund limits, transfer restrictions, usage limits, appointment requirements, and payment obligations.
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in writing, packages, memberships, and prepaid treatment plans are non refundable, non transferable, and not redeemable for cash.
Unused sessions, missed sessions, late cancellations, no shows, or expired package benefits may be forfeited according to the applicable package or membership terms.
16. Gift Cards
Lumière Skin Studio does not currently offer gift cards unless expressly stated by us in writing.
If gift cards are offered in the future, they may be subject to additional terms, legal requirements, expiration rules, redemption limitations, transfer restrictions, and refund restrictions.
Gift cards will not be redeemable for cash except where required by law.
Lumière Skin Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, unauthorized, or misused gift cards to the fullest extent permitted by law.
17. Promotions and Special Offers
Promotions, discounts, first time offers, seasonal offers, introductory pricing, special rates, and limited time offers are subject to availability and may be changed, restricted, or discontinued at any time.
Promotional pricing is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing for a specific appointment.
Promotions cannot be combined with other offers unless expressly stated by Lumière Skin Studio.
Promotions have no cash value, are not refundable, are not transferable, and may be subject to additional rules.
Misuse of promotions, duplicate use, false information, or abuse of offers may result in cancellation of the promotion, refusal of service, or refusal of future bookings.
18. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
You agree to contact Lumière Skin Studio directly at help@lucie-lumiere.mnails.studio before initiating any chargeback, payment dispute, bank reversal, or claim through a payment processor.
You agree to provide a reasonable opportunity for Lumière Skin Studio to review and respond to any billing concern.
False, improper, abusive, or bad faith chargebacks may result in refusal of future services, cancellation of future appointments, collection efforts, recovery of fees, and any other remedies available under applicable law.
Lumière Skin Studio may use appointment records, communication records, service notes, intake forms, consent forms, cancellation records, payment records, website disclosures, and this Policy as evidence in response to any chargeback, dispute, claim, or legal proceeding.
19. Third Party Payment Processors
If Lumière Skin Studio uses third party payment processors, booking platforms, payment links, card readers, invoicing tools, or online checkout systems, your payment may be subject to the terms, policies, fees, processing rules, and privacy practices of those third parties.
Lumière Skin Studio is not responsible for third party payment processor errors, delays, declined transactions, holds, freezes, outages, unauthorized access, data issues, refund processing times, or platform decisions.
Refunds, if approved, may take additional time to appear depending on the payment method, bank, card issuer, or payment processor.
20. Refund Processing
If Lumière Skin Studio approves a refund in writing, the refund will be processed to the original payment method where reasonably possible, unless another method is required or approved by us.
Approved refunds may exclude processing fees, booking fees, transaction fees, platform fees, chargeback fees, administrative fees, or any non refundable amounts where permitted by law.
Approval of one refund does not require Lumière Skin Studio to approve any future refund.
No employee, contractor, representative, or service provider may authorize a refund unless authorized by Lumière Skin Studio.
21. Refusal of Future Service
Lumière Skin Studio reserves the right to refuse future appointment requests, cancel future appointments, require deposits, require full prepayment, restrict booking access, or permanently decline service to any client who violates this Policy or our Terms and Conditions.
This may apply to clients who repeatedly cancel, reschedule, arrive late, no show, dispute payments, provide false information, behave inappropriately, fail to follow policies, or create safety, legal, operational, or business concerns.
22. Website and Form Errors
Website errors, form errors, pricing errors, display errors, plugin issues, email delivery issues, technical issues, or automated confirmation errors do not create a guaranteed appointment, guaranteed price, guaranteed promotion, or guaranteed right to service.
Lumière Skin Studio reserves the right to correct errors, cancel mistaken bookings, revise incorrect information, and refuse appointments created through technical or pricing errors.
23. Force Majeure
Lumière Skin Studio is not responsible for cancellations, delays, rescheduling, inability to provide service, or policy changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include illness, emergency, severe weather, natural disaster, power outage, internet outage, website failure, provider unavailability, public health concerns, government action, supply shortage, transportation disruption, safety issue, or other events outside our control.
24. Relationship to Other Policies
This Refund and Cancellation Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, intake forms, consent forms, booking confirmations, service specific policies, and any written instructions provided by Lumière Skin Studio.
If there is a conflict between this Policy and a service specific written agreement, the more specific written agreement may control for that specific issue.
25. Changes to This Policy
Lumière Skin Studio reserves the right to update, modify, replace, or revise this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time.
Changes will be effective when posted on our website unless a different effective date is stated.
Your continued use of the website, submission of appointment requests, booking of services, payment for services, or receipt of services after changes are posted means that you accept the updated Policy.
26. Governing Law
This Refund and Cancellation Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal laws of the United States.
Any dispute arising from or related to this Policy, appointments, payments, cancellations, refunds, services, or communications with Lumière Skin Studio shall be handled in the appropriate courts or legal forums located in Florida unless otherwise required by applicable law.
